breaking up is hard to do....

For some reason, that lyrics of a Beatles song (correct me if I'm wrong) first came to mind when I thought of what my blog entry title would be...it's not like i'm gonna write about a break-up or something...well, almost..but not quite..

since christmas is just around the corner, andaming gatherings here and there...just this week, i'm booked until thursday...last monday was the company christmas party; yesterday, the project's; and later i'll be with college berks from ISM...

the company christmas party was ok...ok lang dahil di sha kasing saya nung previous christmas parties that I have attended...well, astig naman ung mga kinuha nilang banda so that somehow makes up for the bad service of the caterers and ung a lot less astig prizes (no more free trips to US)...ok sana ung food eh...pero ang olats talaga nung mga nagseserve!!! Tipong nag ask ako ng vinegar from one of them and the guy just stared at me at parang naghang for split second! Duh?! anong mahirap intindihin sa sinabi ko? And the worst part, naubos na lahat ng kropeck at chicharon sa table namin hindi pa dumadating ung vinegar na hiningi ko! Isa pa pala, early on during the party, we asked for some beer...well guess what, WALA NA DAW BEER!!! curses!!! and I just found out from one of our projectmates that when he tried to bribe one of the waiters, the friggin' waiter was able to serve them beer! double curses!!! oh well...buti na lang talaga ok ung performance nung mga bands...I'm not really a haler (i'm not even sure if that's the correct spelling) but they were pretty good that night...I especially liked their performance of 'Fix You'...I just love that song and was just happy that Champ was able to sing it well...I liked Bamboo's performance even more...most of the songs that they played were Rivermaya's, buti hindi nagagalit ang Rivermaya when they use their songs sa mga gig nila noh?!

What makes me more sad is that there were just the 4 of us 'startgroup' who were there...after 4 christmas parties in the company, 4 na lang din kmi! hindi pa nga buong christmas party kami magkakasama eh...hayy...nakakalungkot lang...to think na only one of us had actually left the company...actually, hindi naman talaga kaming 10 ang laging magkasama...the 'core group' used to be 8, then down to 7 hanggang sa ngayon nga, 4 na lang kami...and soon, there will probably just the 2 of them left...enough with the sad part...kahit 4 lang kami, it was fun nevertheless...shempre di mawawala ang asaran at kwentuhan...we even went to starbucks 6750 after the party to catch up with each other's lives (aka mag-asaran)...

My 'Startgroup'

These people make leaving the company really difficult. But then again, sooner or later one of us will eventually move on and pursue better opportunities. Iniisip ko na lang palagi whenever one of my friends leave the company, the friendship does not have to end naman after his or her last day...Just hope it would still work this time considering I'm moving to a different country...hayy...

Eniweis, here are some of the pics from the Christmas gatherings this week:

The best project's christmas party :)

Boardmates-the reunion (minus thami & draide)

Barberya-minus the indianeros and indianeras! hmph!

Sometimes I wish I don't have to go to thailand after the christmas season...para kasing during this season you get to spend more time with your friends and loved ones making it more difficult to leave them...hayy...
