subjects and navy pier weekend

Last Friday, I went to Lynne’s place…and as usual, we drank like there’s no tomorrow at nancy’s place… I think I had six or seven cans of Modelo—a Mexican beer that you usually drink with lime and salt…in fairness masarap sha ha… medjo nakocross out ung bitter taste ng beer nung lime…parang margarita…hehehe…I dunno if it will work for other beer pero really, masarap sha…we played “subjects”…it’s a card game where you take turns in opening cards (only 10's, J's, Q's, K's & A's are used)..If you get a J, you drink 1 shot of beer, for Q, you get to give out 2 shots to anyone in the group, for A, you get to give out 3 shots, for K, you drink one shot and place the card in the middle, but whoever gets the last K drinks whatever is left in his/her bottle of beer…if you get a 10 naman, you will mention any subject of your choice (ex: color) and the whole group will take turns saying all types of colors until somebody runs out of something to say and just drinks another shot…and then the one next to him/her opens a new card hanggang sa maubos all cards or until 4 Kings have already been opened…being the newbie, they were all picking on me…badtrip! Kaya I had that much beer! Ayun, medjo tipsy na when we went home…by the way, I met someone, one of frank’s friends, dice…he’s cute and funny pero shorty kaya medjo off…around 5’6” to 5’7” I think…hehehe…lynne said he was hitting on me…sorry dense ako…hahaha…he did ask for a hug though before we left…I don’t know if that meant anything or just a friendly gesture…sabi ko nga sa previous post ko, no more guessing games for me…pero honestly, kilig…hihihi…oh well, hanggang duon lang naman un…all in all, I had a blast that night compared to the first weekend that I went there…mas medjo at ease na ko with the people there…we went home at around 3am I think…tapos putek we had to be up at 7 coz ihahatid ni ate Emily si tito and sabay na ko pabalik ng apartment…I had to be back early din coz Raymond, Anton and I had plans to go to Navy Pier…when I arrived at their apartment, jusme tulog pa ung 2…so I had time to check mails and call home…we left at around 11 ata un…we went to apple pala muna to get a casing for anton’s new iPod (shet I’m thinking of buying one myself kaya lang feeling ko it wont be too useful for me…I’m more into radio listening kc…baka masayang lang pera ko…I was considering iShuffle at least mas mura, di mashado nakakapanghinayang...) then to compUSA to look for raymond’s camera casing…I bought earphones and cdr’s to store my work files before I go back to manila and the mp3s that we downloaded (thanks to the fast connection @ the guys’ apartment, downloading from kazaa is a breeze!! hehehe) after compUSA, we walked towards navy pier na…dumaan muna kmi ng lakefront…nice yung beach dun ha…fine ung white sand…kaya lang nga it’s too cold to swim…what’s really nice is the view of downtown Chicago just a few steps from the shoreline…hayy…I don’t know, there’s just something about beaches that gets to me…siguro sirena ako date…hahahaha… after taking some pics at the lakefront, punta na kmi ng navy pier…had fun just looking around…I wanted to take that 4D ride pa nga kaso yaw ng mga kasama ko…too expensive daw for $10…minsan lang eh! Hehehe…I will ask lynne to go there before I leave! I’m sure she’d love to ride that too! Meron pa palang isa, the mirror maze…I’d like to take that one when we return…I’m curious about how it works eh…meron pang elevator drop at the beginning…exciting un I bet! Hehehe…we ate at mcdonald’s (first time that I tried mcdonald’s here) and anton got pissed with the kids sitting next to our table…sa labas kc kmi umupo and there were lots of birds na nakatambay lang duon sa mga trees…funny thing is, one bird pooped at the guy’s(sitting at the next table) nape…naasar si anton coz binabato nung mga kids ng fries ung birds kaya lalong nagkakagulo sila…what if kami naman mataihan???!! Hehehe…meron din pla exhibit of stained glass creation at one hall sa navy pier…galing…there was also a magic store there…aliw…we watched some kind of an instant “magic show”…we went home na after that…di nanaman kami nakapagbar coz we were too tired na…nakatulog ako ng 8pm and woke up 12 na…medjo alanganin kaya ayun, 6am na ko nakatulog ng Sunday…well 5 lang actually pero since ng daylight saving na ulit, nag advance ng isang oras…hehehe…yesterday naman, we were just chillin’ sa apartment… we watched the true to life story of Alexander the Great sa history channel (oh diba, educational! Hahaha) and had pizza for lunch…I went back to my apartment at around 6pm to do my laundry…went out to Michigan Ave. pala hopefully to get some shopping done…kaso wala, sarado na mga stores! I ended up buying a book at Borders…I started reading din last night kaya eto, puyat puyat nanaman ako! that’s basically how my weekend went… :)
