Had a blast last weekend…It was raining on Friday morning so we decided to postpone our lake Michigan adventure and opted for a visit to The Outlet Store…good thing there were not much work to do for me on Friday (not to mention that I was again by my lonesome in my area) so I was able to research on how to get there :) I slept at Anton and Raymond’s apartment on Friday night so we could leave early the next day. Had to call tita Gloria din to ask for directions on how to get to the Central Union Station we have to take the train coz wala naman kaming car…Boy it was a loooong walk from the apartment to the station! Tapos we had to wait pa coz the train was scheduled to leave at 12:20 (we were there at 10:30!)…Ayun, ikot2 muna kmi sa station…buti na lang their train station is so big it has stores and even an arcade inside…picture2 muna ganyan…hehehe…we boarded at around 12 noon…kakaaliw ung train nila…may second floor…hehehe…Aurora (where the outlet store is) was the last stop so we had a lot of time pa…nung una kwentuhan pa muna kmi and we were looking at the sights sa mga nadadaanan namin…pero nung tumagal, nakaidlip din kmi…finally arrived at Aurora at around 1:30PM where we walked something like a mile or so in search for a taxi…only to find out that we exited on the wrong side of the station so we missed the taxi stand…crap…when we got to the Outlet store, boy it was worth all the effort!!! Imagine being inside a mall with all the finest stores on a sale! It sure was a shopper’s heaven. We started by looking at good stuffs at stores we liked and checked out their prices. Then after finding out the best buys among the stores, that’s the time we started buying (smart shoppers heh?!) Too bad I didn’t prepare a shopping list so I ended up buying just a pair of shoes from reebok and my favorite lacoste perfume at perfumania. Ok lang coz the three of us promised to come back for a second round before I come back to manila…sobrang naaliw kmi sa reebok coz they have a promo if you buy 2 pairs of shoes, you get the third one for free! Sakto sa ming 3…hehehe…I got a $50 shoes for just $35! Not bad diba??? What thrilled me the most was the lacoste perfume…I liked the scent so much but wasn’t willing to pay more than 3 grand for it if I buy it in manila! I got the bottle for $35(inclusive of taxes)! Even another store in the outlet sells it for $51(excluding taxes) so sulit talaga! Hehehe…Sobrang kinikilig ako when I was already paying for it! (roch, it’s probably the same feeling you get everytime you purchase a new bag or something…hehehe) Anton had a blast shopping din for clothes and stuff…raymond bought his cap and shoes naman though he wasn’t able to get the digicam that he wanted…we all agreed to come back for a second round and next time we’ll come prepared and make a mental note of all the things that we want to buy…

Sunday wasn’t so bad either…they slept at my apartment on Saturday night so we can head to Michigan early the following day to look for Raymond’s digicam and buy some grocery stuff. Too bad CompUSA and most of the stores/mall in Michigan was closed coz it was Easter Sunday. We ended up going to the grocery and buying goodies for our “nilagang baka” (sinigang did not push thru coz we can’t find the veggies that we should put in it) after that, we headed to their apartment and prepared for lunch…ang saya…hehehe…we were able to eat lunch at around 4pm! Ha! Beat that! Hehehe…It was all worth it naman…after that, I had to go home and do my laundry while they did theirs…I cleaned the apartment and slept early for the week ahead…

By the way, di ko natiis, I texted lynne last Sunday…she was still a bit mad but we got to talk yesterday so ok na ulit…
