Isn't it nice to have friends na kahit di mo na lagi nakakausap, when you need them, they're just there? I was close to tears kanina not knowing what to do with my career...I've reached that point when I wanted so much to resign or to rolloff from my project...I just got so tired of all the things I need to do in this project...aside from the Wave 2 ESS role that they've given me, they still ask me to review stuff, do some TD on the side, assist the newbies...aaaaaarggghh!!! when will these ever end???!!! Makes me wonder sometimes if I made the right decision of staying in this project instead of resigning or accepting that BW project...hayy...oh well, on with my story...I couldn't think of anyone else to talk to, so I asked jeff if he was busy...this was close to 5:30 so I'm not really sure if he's leaving anytime soon...ayun, I told him everything I felt at that time...to actually have someone listen to what I have to say is already a relief (thanks jeff!)...I was actually hesitant to talk to other friends coz I know they too have their own career problems to deal with...Ang insensitive ko naman to complain about what I have now when they have bigger problems...So there's jeff...my ever reliable friend and confidante when it comes to career plans and decision-making...He made me realize a few things: (1)that that was just a spur-of-the-moment thing (wanting to rolloff and be back in ERP) coz I was just plain tired...(2)na dapat pag-isipan kong maigi ung pagbalik sa ERP coz it's not that easy to get out once I get in...(3)that I should not be afraid that I wont be able to deliver what is expected of me for the Wave 2 release, that I'll do just fine... (4)most importantly, that I should just be thankful of the opportunities coming in coz a lot among us are in a shithole right now....hayy....felt a lot better after that....just in time for the dinner with the ERP girls...
