a workaholic?!!?!!!! not!!!

whoa! after a week of silence, i finally got the chance to write in here! it's not that i didn't want to nor i didn't have anything to write, it's just that my freakin job wont let me! crap! a few days of laziness and pretending to be working didn't really help, before i knew it, my to-do list has already reached it's all-time high! technical designs, code reviews, ctp reviews, meetings, conference calls, walkthroughs, f*%k! when will these ever end??!! Luckily I managed to finish some of them but still have a few left...hopefully, by next week, life will be a breeze once again!

It's been a week since i've updated this blog so let me give you a rundown of what happened in the previous week:

January 6, Thursday - had lunch with some college friends to discuss something about putting up a scholarship foundation for our college org...think it's for a worthy cause???not!!! after finding out from jayvee (a former classmate) what the real motive of the founder of was, i was totally disappointed! It's disgusting to find out that the one who proposed this foundation (let's just not mention the name of that b*st*rd!) actually was after the perks of putting up a foundation...the credits that he would get, the advantages, the plus-points in the resume kind-of-thing...how pathetic can you get??!!! just sucks big time how far some people could go just to get ahead! Oh well, the lunch wasn't so bad anyway...I got to see Raine, Noel, Thami and Jayvee after a long while...Kwentuhan about work, latest chismax, lovelives, etc...

January 7, Friday - probably one of the highlights of this month's events...not in a good manner though...twas just a usual friday startgroup lunchout...or so i thought...i had to withdraw some cash before meeting ogie at the building lobby...before entering the atm booth, I saw a bunch of projectmates sittin at the benches nearby still waiting for other projectmates...After getting the money i needed, I decided to join my projectmates while waiting for ogie...as I was walking towards them, I noticed that a guy from the bench just in front of me was looking at me...and when I looked at the guy, holy crap, twas Third!!! (Why, of all places, do I have to see you here?!!) I had no other choice but to say hi coz obviously he saw me demmit! I gathered all strength I had to maintain my composure and somehow manage a casual conversation.
Me: Uy! Kamusta? Bat nandito ka?
Third: Meron kc akong exam jan sa cityland eh. Ikaw san ka? Papasok ka pa lang?
Me: Ndi noh. Lunchout ako with startgroup…
Third: Aic. San ka ba? San ba office mo?
Me: Dito lang sa GT. (pointing towards the building behind me)
Third: Ahh…sabi na nga ba makikita kita ngayon eh… (so you still think about me huh??!! aminin mo na! hahaha! crap!)
Me: Hehe…Uy cge ha, puntahan ko lang mga kaproject ko…buhbye!
Third: Cge ingat!
Whew...It was like five minutes of my life just froze...I didn't realize he would still have that kind of effect on me! My hands were shaking even after I met ogie! The whole lunch time I was distressed and clumsy I even spilt iced tea on our table! (Good thing twas bottomless! hehe..) I just realized that I can never ever really be ready to face that most dreaded situation of facing him again...not after a week, a month, or even a year! Oh well, I guess that's how it is when you just loved (past tense) the person so much...aww...

January 8, Saturday - Can't remember anything significant that happened on this day...Only one thing comes to mind, I was at the office! Ah, I now remember... ann, robert and I went to starbucks after office....stayed there for a couple of hours reminiscing about high school and college life...left at around 11PM...I tried to withdraw from the Equitable-PCI ATM machine near MSE and that stupid machine did not dispense cash but deducted 500 bucks from my account! Up till now they have not debited my money! crap! When I got home, tried to eat dinner and slipped coz i didn't realize the floor near the kitchen sink was wet! badtrip! Sakit pa naman ng paa ko non coz of the sandals I used that day! I still have bruises because of my stupidity! aargh!!

January 9, Sunday -woke up at around noon... I was thinking of going out just to unwind after a week of hardwork but decided to stay home and rest to prepare myself for the coming all-nighters in the office...I was able to watch 3 films: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Shark Tale and Bridget Jones...I enjoyed all three...i liked Shark Tale coz like most animation, it brings out the kid in all of us...not to mention that I'm a big Will Smith fan...hehe...I also especially liked Angie's character coz at one point, I could relate to her...i guess that unrequited-love-towards-someone-who-just-treats-you-as-a-friend crap is universal...even underwater creatures experience it! Bridget Jones was a bit more like your typical love story...Nothing really amusing about this sequel...Typical relationship thingy when couples fight and then kiss and makeup...I liked the part when Bridget got jailed because she was carrying some illegal drugs coming from a trip in Thailand and Mark Darcy came to help her out...He just said he was just a messenger and had nothing to do with her release...only to realize that it was him all along who arranged for her release...awww...so sweet...daniel cleaver (hugh grant), on the other hand, presents the other kind of men that exist in this planet -plain jerks! ...Out of the three films that I watched, I kinda liked Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind the most...probably because it has a different story line...I actually got confused during the early part of the film but everything just fell into place towards the middle...I actually wished that it was really possible to erase memories of someone from our brain so that when we wake up in the morning, it's a fresh start...tabula rasa...clean slate...but then again, I realized that it would be sad to not be able to look back to memories that actually mold us to who we are right now...Especially with relationships, I think it's always good to look back and realize how much love we are capable of giving... and that no matter how painful some relationships may turn out, there will always be good memories of that person you loved that will make you smile once in a while...

whew...still have 4 days worth of entries left...i'm already tired...hehehe...we're leaving in a while...hopefully i'd be able to sneak some more entries by tomorrow...i'll have to end it here...
